perfumes and perfume's containers in ancient times

Do you know that perfumes have been played a very important role of culture since ancient times. There are not only were the perfumes valuable, but also were the containers or bottles that held them.

The oldest known perfume bottles came from the Ancient Egyptians. They used the bottles or the containers made of stone and alabaster which can kept the perfume cool, and the most importantly it did not leak out the precious liquids. They also used some kind clay pots made into sculptures of people and animals.

Many perfume containers have been found in tombs of the royal families and the middle class people in Egypt. Perfume was an important part of the Egyptians preparation of the dead. Other than the stone perfume containers, other kind of containers have been found made of wood with different compartments for each perfume. This is the all about perfumes and perfume's containers in ancient times.
